Land in Monochrome

Not all landscapes are created equal. The Southwest is very poor in water, but rich in texture. Where there is little, there is most. This land of paradox is the most uniquely beautiful place I know and I am thankful to be able to share these photographs with you. Like my other images, these are all captured on film. There’s a mix of 4×5 and medium format panoramic. All these have been scanned, but also traditionally printed in the darkroom and with alternative photographic processes.
