Late one night during a February storm, I stood under a carport covered in moss and decaying leaves with a lukewarm cup of coffee in hand. The rain was barely visible through the low hanging fog and the streetlamp less than fifty feet away was all but invisible. “Shit” I thought. “It’s time to get out”.
After leaving the Pacific Northwest for browner pastures, I found myself in Santa Fe, New Mexico. It was here that my romantic dreams of travelling the Southwest became a reality and I’ve taken every opportunity I could to do so. As with anything unexpected in life, I also stumbled across a gem in the rough–Kim, my now fiancee. With her companionship and love we are constantly on the search for the next adventure.
Here is our stories, photographs and videos. Being a neo-luddite myself, I shoot large format film (4×5) and a mix of 120 (6×6) and 35mm with our collection of Nikon glass. Kim wields a DSLR and a great eye for documentation. Together we hope we can show you slivers of our world that we care so deeply about.
